A special edition of That Time of the Month helped bring womb cancer into the national conversation.

During Womb Cancer Awareness Month, womb cancer was the focus of a special edition of BBC Radio 5 Live’s That Time of the Month, hosted by Naga Munchetty.

We were incredibly proud to be part of the programme. Peaches Chair and Co-Founder, Dr Eleanor Jones, joined the discussion alongside Dr Nighat Arif and Dr Christine Ekechi, while Marie shared her experience live in the studio.

Together, they spoke openly about the signs and symptoms of womb cancer, diagnosis, treatment and life beyond cancer – helping to raise awareness and encourage more conversations about a disease that is still not widely known about, despite being the fourth most common cancer in UK women (after breast, lung and bowel).

A huge thank you to everyone who shared phoned or texted in their story and helped make this programme possible.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about womb cancer or share trusted information with friends and family, this programme is a great place to start.
