Mapping Endometrial Cancer Care Across England

Loudspeaker announcing first endometrial cancer audit

The British Gynaecological Cancer Society, Peaches Womb Cancer Trust and The Eve Appeal are funding a joint project: the endometrial cancer audit pilot.

This project will map endometrial cancer care, surgery and survival across the NHS in England for the first time.

The audit will identify regional variations in surgery and treatment, routes to diagnosis and the management of advanced endometrial cancer.

It’s hoped the endometrial cancer audit pilot will result in a regular audit of endometrial cancer to drive improvements in clinical practice.

This pilot is currently running in England; the long-term aspiration is to see audits take place across all four UK nations.
