Introducing Peaches Future Voices

Dark blue text reads 'peeaches future voices' on a light blue background with a wavy dark blue banner at the top. A graphic of people holding hands in a line sits underneath the text.

Following the success of Peaches Patient Voices, we’re delighted to launch Peaches Future Voices, a new initiative bringing together researchers and people with a womb who:

  • have a higher risk (chance) of womb cancer, and/or
  • have had tests to check for womb cancer but were not diagnosed.

Established in 2021 with Helen White, Peaches Patient Voices has helped ensure that the views and perspectives of people affected by womb cancer are represented in research.

Building on that success, Peaches Future Voices is bringing new voices to womb cancer research to ensure it reflects broader lived experiences.

Helen, who leads Peaches Future Voices, says:

“Many people tell us they find it really rewarding to be involved in shaping research. It’s a chance to use their lived experience to help make things better for people at risk of womb cancer or having tests for it in the future.”

By widening involvement, we can help ensure that future studies are shaped by real-life experiences and help improve prevention, screening, better tests, and early detection.

If you are at higher risk of womb cancer, or have had tests such as an ultrasound scan, biopsy, or a hysteroscopy but were not diagnosed, we’d love to hear from you.
