The Women & Girls Match Fund supports charities working to improve the lives of women and girls, and we’re proud to be part of it.
Womb cancer is the most common gynaecological cancer in the UK, but awareness of its signs and symptoms is still low.
We also know that not everyone has the same experience of womb cancer. Younger people and Black women can face barriers to accessing healthcare and getting a timely diagnosis, which can mean womb cancer is diagnosed at a more advanced stage. This can lead to more intensive treatment, greater long-term effects and poorer outcomes.
At Peaches, we want to understand these barriers better and work alongside people from communities who experience inequalities, as well as trusted community organisations, to create information and support that works. We want people who need us to see themselves reflected in the information and services we provide.
