What is Peaches Patient Voices?
Peaches Patient Voices (PPV) connects people who’ve been affected by womb cancer, including people diagnosed with womb cancer and those who have supported them, with researchers. Everyone’s experience of womb cancer is unique, and anyone whose life has been touched by womb cancer is welcome to join.
Womb cancer diagnoses are increasing every year. Researchers want to find better ways to prevent it, detect it earlier, diagnose it more accurately, and improve treatments — but they can’t do this alone.
By sharing your views, you can help shape research that truly reflects what matters most to people affected by womb cancer. Your voice can make a real difference.
We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences. Researchers need to hear a broad range of voices to make sure research outcomes are relevant to everyone affected by womb cancer.

What happens when I join?
When researchers want to involve those affected by womb cancer in their research, we’ll email you the details. You can then decide whether to respond to opportunities we share with you. It’s very flexible, you can choose to be involved in as much or as little as you like.
Examples of ways you could get involved:
- sharing your views in a survey
- joining a workshop or discussion group
- reviewing or helping to write patient information
- helping researchers design their study
Most activities can be done from home. Some are one-off, while others may involve a longer commitment.

What else does Peaches Patient Voices do?
Members can also share their experiences in other ways, including:
- contributing to NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and SMC (Scottish Medicines Consortium) recommendations on new womb cancer treatments.
- helping Peaches develop resources for people affected by womb cancer
- speaking at webinars, talks, and on educational programmes for doctors.
This can make an enormous difference and help people with womb cancer live well for longer.
