We are pleased to invite you to a new expert speaker webinar exploring some mindfulness approaches that may help you through Christmas and the weeks leading up to it, which can be a stressful time.
This gentle and supportive session led by Ken Lunn, Mindfulness Teacher and Trustee, Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), will cover simple practices and perspectives that you might find helpful.
Ken is a mindfulness and meditation teacher, and a friend of Peaches. He has been a regular meditator since 1995, and started teaching mindfulness in 2014. His regular practice was initially part of a recovery from a traumatic period in life.
In September 2025 he was diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood cancer, and in April 2026 he had a stem cell transplant, which is the only known route to a cure. He is recovering well. Mindfulness and meditation have been key to coping with MDS and his recovery. As a busy, active person, he was forced to slow down. Last Christmas was particularly affected, as he was immune compromised and had to step out of a lot of family and social activities.
You don’t need to meditate to benefit from mindfulness. There are some simple things you can do to help slow down and ease stress and anxiety.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and share personal experiences. Ken has written a blog on his MDS experience at https://kenlunn.com
Join from the comfort of your home to learn about mindfulness alongside cancer, and supporting yourself during the festive season.
